Each of the 4 Guu Villas have their own separate parking areas at the front entrance to the property (located on the east side / mountainside of the development).

Once entering through the individual property gate from the privately-owned access road, there is ample parking for vehicles motorcycles and pedal bikes.

The Design Concept
The Guu Villas harmonize modern holiday living with tropical serenity, creating seamless, adaptable spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls flood the interiors with natural light and frame the panoramic ocean views. The villas are thoughtfully engineered to invite the gentle sea breeze, and the architecture ensures fresh air circulates effortlessly across every level of your private sanctuary.
Sophisticated Interiors & Seamless Living
The main entrance of each villa opens into a grand, open-plan sanctuary. Spacious lounges feature plush seating and space for entertainment, flowing naturally into sleek, gourmet kitchens and dining areas. Every corner showcases curated, custom-made furniture imported exclusively from Bali, Java and other corners of south-east Asia. Encircling the villa, 2.8-metre glass doors slide away to reveal a private tropical garden, a tranquil poolside sala (gazebo), and a shimmering swimming pool.

Spread across multiple levels, the villas offer five curated environments for relaxation and hosting:

Designed for absolute culinary comfort, the space features premium, full-sized appliances, integrated stoves and ovens, a discreetly tucked-away microwave nook, and a spacious butler’s pantry to keep meal preparation seamless and clutter-free.
Artisan Dining & Gathering
At the heart of the space sits a magnificent 2-metre central island and breakfast bench, serving as the perfect hub for morning espresso or casual socializing. This flows elegantly into the main dining area, anchored by exquisite 6-8 seat dining tables in each villa. Masterfully envisioned by our villa design team, the entire dining sets are handcrafted from high-grade, sustainable teak wood sourced from throughout south-east Asia.

Each of the king-sized bedrooms enjoy tastefully appointed ensuite bathrooms featuring artisan tiles, double-vanity stone benchtops and quality fixtures & fittings. In addition to these bathrooms, there is an additional communal WC located on the ground floor of each villa as well as a poolside shower in the rear courtyards.

Continuing the modern functionality of these new villas, the villa designer has included a work-from-home space in each property.

Note: The rooftop terraces, living rooms and pool-side sala also offer comfortable working spaces with fast WiFi connectivity throughout.

Space! Each of The Guu Villas offer an abundance of liveable space within their own private boundary: including over-sized outdoor terraces & rooftop retreats designed for entertaining.

The upper level terrace (70m2) on each of the villas is easily accessible and includes hammocks, bean bags, comfortable Balinese furniture ~ ideal for lazy afternoons & shared evenings!

These outdoor spaces are likely the most popular areas of the villas (second only perhaps to the saltwater swimming pools) as they feature sunset sea views towards famous Phi Phi island, including Koh Lanta’s favorite Long Beach. 

Placed in the rear garden next to the villas and the private swimming pools are large salas ideal for outdoor dining, BBQs, swinging hammocks or creative lounge space. These grass-roofed salas provides additional shade-cover and an extra spot to entertain family and friends.

Each of the Guu Villas has room for its own laundry / storage located on the ground floor level in the butlers pantry. This room allows the potential for a washing machine recess, dishwasher, plenty of shelving and is conveniently placed close to the kitchen and king-sized master bedrooms.

Finished with traditional green sukabumi tiles from Bali, Indonesia, the pleasantly sized 6m long by 3m wide swimming pools feature plenty of room for sunbeds and entertaining. Each villa has its own swimming pool, and with a depths from 1.20m-1.80m, the private pools are the perfect place to cool down on warm tropical afternoons.

The Guu Villas are situated on a boutique development property of 1,600m2 and have a manicured front garden areas integrated with parking spaces and tropical plants including the swimming pool & sala/gazebo. Thick, natural fencing of bamboo and palm trees wrap the perimeter of each villa in traditional south east Asian fashion, whereby the boundary ties into the green vegetation as much as possible, allowing a truly unique outdoor paradise!

With 9 beaches lining the popular west coast of Koh Lanta, there are certainly no shortage of sandy, shaded swimming spots to spend your days and evenings. The closest and most popular beach on the island, Phra Ae / Long Beach is only a 5-minute walk from The Guu Villas. With the local beach stretching approximately 5km long, the Guu development is located at the southernmost tip of the Long Beach area, which is known for its bamboo beach bars, lazy hammock-filled restaurants, volleyball nets and nightly sunset entertainment!

Long Beach is a well-known family friendly area that is populated with numerous gyms (inc. Muay Thai), laundry facilities, convenience stores, tourist shops, art galleries, bookshops, western restaurants, and trendy themed bars with local and foreign owners.

Just south of Long Beach, and also a 5-minute walk / 2-minute drive is Relax Beach (highly recommended by The Guu Villas!)

The Guu Villas: Booking & Cancellation Policy

Standard Booking Policy

We understand that from time to time, situations arise that require an amendment or cancellation of a booking. Please note our booking and cancellation policies and note that we encourage you to consider travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes in travel plans.

Payment (private bookings only): Guests wanting the best rental rates can book directly via the CONTACT page of our website.

How do I change or cancel my booking? Please make changes or cancel your booking with the same booking channel that it was originally made: direct to The Guu Villas, Booking.Com, Airbnb, or other as necessary.

Date Changes: Amendments to bookings can be made if more than 30 days prior to your arrival date (only if the availability of our villas allow for adjustment without affecting any other guests’ bookings). Amendments to reduce or cancel your confirmed booking cannot be made less than 30 days prior to your arrival date and may be considered a ‘cancellation’. Where possible, we will always do our best to extend your booking as long as changes do not affect other confirmed guests.

Cancellations:

Cancellations made greater than 30 days before arrival / check-in date will be given a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival will forfeit the total deposit amount (equal to 50% of the total booking fee) and will not receive any refund.

If guests fail to arrive or do not stay for the full number of booked nights, no refund will be provided.

Note: For bookings made via Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia – cancellation policies are as per that specific platform or website.
